Student Ministry Announcements

Thanks for checking out the latest happenings in the Student Ministry on the week of May 25^th, 2008.

Middle School:

• Student Life will take place Monday, June 16^th – Friday, June 20^th.  Please be in prayer for our students as we prepare to go to camp.  If you are going, please remember your final deposit is due.
• Life Groups are over for the summer, but we will still meet for youth every Sunday morning from 10:30 a.m. to Noon in the Youth Room.

High School:

• This Summer, our High School ministry will be having a mission trip experience we will be calling Kingdom Culture We are going to devote our High School Mission Trip to our very own city of Greenville. On July 8th - 12th, we will be serving our city in a variety of ways including; construction projects, feeding the needy, and serving in the inner city, as well as having times of intercession and worship. We will be staying in downtown Greenville at either First Baptist Church, Greenville or Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. The total cost will only be $75. This includes EVERYTHING!! Signups are going on now. You can sign up by going to www.crccsc.org or using the sign-up sheet in the youth room. The deadline to sign up will be June 11th, and full payment is due by June 30th. • We will NOT meet for High School Encounter Gathering on June 8^th due to Churchwide Baptism at the RiverWalk Subdivision pool.
• On, Thursday, June 12^th High School ministry will be going to Sliding Rock in the Pisgah National Forest near Asheville for the day.  Please meet at the church at 10:00 a.m. and we will return around 5:00 p.m.   Please bring a bag lunch, comfortable shoes, a change of clothes, and bathing suit. (Ladies, no 2-piece bathing suits (Tankini’s are fine.).  Guys, no speedos!)

All Students  

• This summer we will be offering a variety of small group Bible Studies for our Middle School and our High      School students. These studies will take place on Wednesday nights at the church and will begin June 11^th. You can take a look at the studies that will offered and sign up beginning this Sunday, May 25^th at the      information table in the youth wing.
• Tuesday’s this summer; students are invited to participate in “City Serve” projects. From around 9:00 a.m. to Noon we will be doing a variety of serve projects in our city. The first one will be Tuesday, June 10^th. Please stay tuned for additional details.
